ማሕበረሰብ ንኡስ ዞባ ሰገነይቲ ኣብ ኤድመንተን ዝፈጠርናሉ ምኽንያት፡ ንኣባላትና-ብፍላይ ንመንእሰይ ወለዶ ብሰንኪ እቲ ንሰፊሕ ማሕበረሰብ ኤርትራ ዝጸለወ ፖለቲካዊ ምፍልላይ ካብዚ ነጻ ዝኾነ ብባህሎም መንነቶምን ሰብኣውነቶም ጥራይ ተቐቢሉ ዘእንግድ ምትእኽኻብ ኣድላይ ኮይኑ ስለ ዝረኸብናዮ እዩ።ብፍላይ ኣብ ገለ ገለ ምድላዋት መንእሰያት ብፖለቲካዊ ኣረኣእያ ወለዶም ኣብ ልዕሊ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ተመርኲሶም ይምዘኑ ወይ ስያመ ይወሃቦም እዩ።፡ እዚ ድማ ንመንእሰያትና ተስፋ ምቁራጽን ተነጽሎን ይፈጥር። ዕላማና ኩሉ ተወላዲ እቲ ከባቢ ብናጽነት ዝሳተፈሉ ኣብ ባህሊ፣ ቅርሲ፣ ሓድሕዳዊ ምድግጋፍ ዘተኮረ፣ ካብ ብፖሎቲካ ጥራይ ዝግለጽ ማሕበረሰብ ነጻ ኾይኑ መሰረቱን እምነቱን ባህሉን ዝዓቀበ ትውልዲ ምህናጽ እዩ።
The reason we established the Segeneyti Sub-Zone Community in Edmonton is to create a neutral space for our members—especially the younger generation—that is free from the political divisions present in the broader Eritrean community. We want a place where people can be welcomed based solely on their culture, identity, and humanity.

In many situations, youth are judged or labeled according to their parents’ political views toward the Government of Eritrea—either being favored or excluded based on those opinions. This creates frustration and discouragement for our young people.

Our goal is to bring together everyone from our area in a spirit of openness, focusing on culture, heritage, and mutual support, and to build a community free from political influence, where future generations can grow with strong foundations, values, and cultural pride.
